What pet insurance costs
The monthly rate for your pet varies by species, age, breed, and ZIP code. Before your plan begins paying, you cover vet bills up to the deductible amount, which you also set. Your reimbursement also affects your price. It's the share of covered vet bills that the insurer pays back. See what changes your monthly cost. Also check whether coverage is worth it.
